The FIS World Cup is coming to Canada from March 1-12. And even more exciting, the final races will be held in Canmore from March 8-12!
The first week of racing will feature four stages in Quebec, while the second week will feature the final four stages and awarding of the FIS crystal globes in Canmore.
This means the best cross country skiers in the world will be racing in our province as they hope to win the FIS crystal globes.
We have two prizes to give away. They are:
1. Two (2) VIP passes for the Sprint Final Events on Tuesday March 8. Each ticket is valued at $125 each and includes:
- Access to the Partners Lounge, which includes: prime viewing of the stadium, lunch and snacks all day, Grizzly Paw alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Access to VIP seating on March 8 which include bleachers in prime viewing areas on course
- FIS World Cup toque
2. A $100 gift certificate to Crazy Weed Restaurant in Canmore redeemable at any time.

Once you’ve done that, find our post about the contest.
-If you “Like” the post, you get one entry into the draw.
-If you “Share” the post, you get two entries into the draw.
-If you comment on the post with your favorite thing about cross country skiing, you get three entries into the draw.
So if you do all of them, you get your name entered six times into our draw.
Winners will be drawn at random. The first name drawn will get a choice of one of the two prizes. The second name drawn will get the remaining prize.
The draw will happen at 12:00noon on Tuesday, March 1.
