A. Position Summary
This position is responsible for this area’s program design, development and facilitation. The Director of Leadership Development is responsible for surveying the needs of coaches, working with the Technical Committee to develop realistic development plans, set goals, and establish a task outline; ensuring that the action plan and goals are being met. Specifically the Director would plan and organize an annual coaching seminar working with coaches to design a seminar current to coaches needs. As well planning of upcoming certification courses, identification of regions weak in coaching resources and communication with club coaches are integral components of this position. This position will also liaison and communicate with regional representatives, Program Co-ordinator and the Technical Committee.
B. Key Responsibilities
Program area design, development and facilitation
Liaison with various levels of club representations w/respect to program area
Development of action plans, standards, and criteria where applicable
Other special projects (Coaching Seminar) as directed by the Board/Chairperson
