Edmonton has several clubs:

  • Edmonton Nordic Ski Club
  • Maintains 10 kms of trails at Goldbar/Goldstick parks, groomed for both skating and classic, featuring all 10kms of trails lit for night skiing - Map

  • Canadian Birkebeiner Society
  • Hosts the annual Canadian Birkebeiner Ski Festival the second Saturday in February.
  • Club also runs learn to loppet ski lessons in the months prior to the Birkebeiner.

  • Millcreek Ski Club
  • Primarily a masters ski club, focusing on loppets such as the Birekbeiner, or the Canadian & World Masters Championships.

  • Sturgeon River Nordic Ski Club
  • Ski at and maintains 12kms of trails groomed for skating and classic.
  • Trails are located just north of Edmonton, 2 1/2 miles south of Bon Accord on Range Rd 240, #118 Sturgeon Valley Vista Estates

  • Track 'n Trail Nordic Ski Club
  • Hosts the annual "Time Will Tell" event at Strathcona Wildnerness Centre
