Photo Submission

Welcome to the Cross Country Alberta Photo Contest

PHOTO CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. Thank  you to everyone who submitted!

You love to ski, and we want to know about it! Submit your favorite skiing related photo using the submission form below. We’re looking for any photo you think relates to cross country skiing. This could be your favorite ski trail, favorite race photo, favorite ski buddy, favorite pair of skis, favorite spandex onsie…you get the idea.

Photos can be from any ski location, we’re not limiting things to Alberta only.

Contest runs from February 20th- March 31st 2015.

We also want to hear your stories! Along with your photo, fill in the caption section to tell us about the story behind the picture. Give us as much information as you want. The story that goes along with the photo will directly relate to the judging criteria.

The CCA judging panel will choose their favorites. Each submission may be featured on our social media sites throughout the contest.

At the end of the the contest (March 31st, 2015) The panel will choose five overall winners. The top FIVE will receive a prize of:

  1. CCA pottery (mug or tumbler)
  2. CCA toque
  3. Yardley Jones Print of Skoki Lodge

Our top THREE will receive the above, along with:

  1. Be featured in our 2015-2016 Nordic News Magazine.

Our top TWO will receive all of the above, along with a gift certificate for a free pair of Innov8 road shoes from Fast Trax Run and Ski Shop

Individuals can submit up to two (2) photos each. The form allows for more than one photo to be submitted at a time, but for us, it would be easiest to sort out the stories along with the photos if they were submitted individually.

Please read the submission waiver below for contest rules.
