Save the Date! Canmore 2017 World Para Nordic Skiing World Cup

From the

Canmore 2017 World Para Nordic Skiing World Cup organizing committee:
From December 8 – 18, 2017, more than 100 of the world’s best para nordic athletes will compete in biathlon and cross country disciplines at the world-renowned Canmore Nordic Centre. This event marks the first World Cup of the 2017/2018 season, and allows Canadian Paralympic hopefuls to compete on home snow only three months before the PyeongChang Paralympic Winter Games.
The goal for this event is to grow the sport of para nordic skiing, and grow awareness for adaptive sport in general in Canada (particularly in Alberta).

We want to have more spectators than ever before cheering on the athletes at this event!
This is where you come in. We’d love to offer you a special cheering section to watch the races, race day souvenirs, and a chance to meet your favourite Canadian para nordic athletes! We are also happy to work with interested groups to suggest accommodation/travel partners. Four of the six races during this period are on weekend days, allowing the opportunity for a great weekend trip to the Rockies!
Please see the attachment below for the Save the Date offer
